College Campus

Every year Silver Valley Upward Bound designs a new residential academic summer program featuring dual credit courses and instruction in math, science, foreign language, and composition and literature.

Summer programs are split into multiple one to two week "modules" designed to fit into a students' busy lives. Summer programs are optional for SVUB students but highly encouraged due to the numerous benefits.

Summer 2023 may include three modules:

  • Module 1: An online book club module for students unwilling or unable to attend in-person programming.

  • Module 2: A 1-2 week in-person module in Moscow, ID at the University of Idaho, following NASA's ARTEMIS Roads mini-mission programming.

  • Module 4: A one-week aerospace careers exploration module; all students may attend, but students attending the capstone MUST attend this module.

  • Capstone: Space Camp! SVUB students in good standing can attend Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama.
